Privacy policy
How Héritage du Mille collects, uses and protects your personal information.
Who is responsible
Emmanuel Hébert Inc., which operates Héritage du Mille. The person in charge of protecting personal information is Emmanuel Hébert, president. For any request: info@emmanuelhebert.com.
What we collect
When you subscribe to new arrivals: your email, your first name if you give it, and the date and text of your consent. When you ask a question: your first name, email and message. When you buy: your name, email, phone and, for a delivery, your address. Card details are entered with Stripe and never reach us.
Why
To send you new arrivals and discounts if you asked for them, answer your questions, complete the sale, arrange pickup or delivery, and keep the records the law requires. Nothing else. Your information is never sold or lent.
Where it is kept
The site and its database are hosted by Cloudflare, and payments are processed by Stripe. Both providers may store data outside Quebec, with protections comparable to those the law requires.
How long
Information related to a sale: six years, as tax rules require. Questions: two years. The subscriber list: until you unsubscribe.
Cookies and favourites
The site uses no advertising cookies or tracking tools. A single technical cookie, set when you add a favourite, keeps a random identifier for 400 days: it is used only to find your favourites again, even if your browser clears its memory. It contains no information about you.
Your rights
You may ask to see or correct your information, withdraw your consent or unsubscribe at any time by writing to info@emmanuelhebert.com. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
